Question 3 (25 marks) Abby and Sasha were very happy when they read that their favourite K-pop music group "VTS" was coming to perform in Singapore. They rushed down to the National Sports Stadium (NSS) to queue for tickets to the concert. While they were at the NSS counter, they noticed some large yellow posters at the side of the counter. From the corner of her eye, Sasha noticed the words "Terms and Conditions" in bold letters but did not think to check out what the posters said. They paid for their tickets and were elated to get some of the best seats for the performance. On the day of the concert, Abby and Sasha arrived at the NSS with great anticipation. It was a sell-out performance. At one point, during the concert, a group of fans rushed forward to try to get closer to their favourite singers. However, there was insufficient security personnel at the venue that night to control the situation. Those fans ended up pushing the concert goers who were in the front rows. Abby and Sasha were amongst those who were pushed. They fell and both sprained their ankles and had cuts on their elbows and faces. After the concert, Abby and Sasha noticed the following clause on the back of each of their concert ticket, "Ticket Holders attending the Event do so completely at their own risk. Neither NSS nor the Promoter shall be responsible or accepts any liability for any direct or indirect loss, accident, damage, personal injury, death or health problem (whether arising directly or indirectly from any existing medical condition or otherwise, and/or whether due to the negligence or otherwise of NSS or the Promoter or any of their affiliates), associated with attending the Event." They also found out that the same clause was stated on the yellow posters at the side of the NSS ticket counters. Required: (a) State what the clause on the back of the tickets is known as and the briefly explain the purpose of such a clause
