(a) The banking company wants to setup new branch in Kuching. The network design team are responsible to investigate the network components preferability to use modular approach. Modular security design approach is a good way to gain an understanding of the type of solution that must be selected to implement security defense. The components elements in the modular security design can be protected and securing using different techniques. Examine any FIVE (5) components from the Table 1, and how these components can be securely protected to implement modular security design.

ABC Company plan to get Request for Proposal (RFP) for their network design project which is focusing on the network management process strategies. Effective network management process can help the company to measure how well design goals are being met. You are required to study, discuss and propose the FIVE (5) elements in the network management design processes (known as FCAPS) as defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and explain how those processes could be applied in managing ABC Company networking. [15 Marks]

(c) As a Network Developer, you have to go through the writing and implementing test plan project phases in the top-down network design. The activities in the testing project involve test objectives and acceptance criteria; the types of tests that will be run; network equipment and other resources required; test scripts; the timeline and milestone for testing. You are requested to propose and design the test plans for each activity. [15 Marks]
