The inlet concentration of A(CA0) is 1.5mol/L and the inlet volumetric flow rate (U0) is 2.5L/min. Determine the volume of each of the three reactors, if the conversion obtained at the outlet of each reactor is as follows: X1=0.20,X2=0.40 and X3=0.60. QUESTION 1 A multilayer room is made up of three layers: the inner layer is made up of 13mm thick pine wood, the middle layer of 101.6mm thick corkboard and the exterior layer made of 76.7mm thick concrete. Inside the room, the wall surface temperature is 245.3K and the outer surface of the concrete is 287.3K. The thermal conductivities of the pine wood, corkboard and concrete are 0.151,0.0433 and 0.762W/m.K, respectively. Calculate the heat loss (W) for 1m2 and the temperature at the interface between the pine wood and the corkboard. [15]
