Jolly Idiot, a famous actor, undersigned a contract for starring in a movie called "Bandits of Carinthia". He undersigns a contract granting the film producer all rights in connection with the exploitation of the film, against a one-time lump sum. The contract foresees the naming of Jolly in the credits at any exploitation of the movie inside and outside the US.

The movie producer subsequently distributes the film to many cinemas around the country as well as abroad. Only after several months, Idiot notices that his name was misspelled in the credits at the end of the film. Idiot phones his lawyer to take the appropriate legal steps.
