Question 4 The following describes the warehouse business process at Gamby Sdn Bhd, an online clothing retailer. When Gamby receives goods from suppliers, Gamby's warehouse employees will check the supplier's packing document. One of the employees will also check that the goods received are not damaged. If the goods are damaged, the employee will put those goods aside and write a damage goods report to be sent to the accountant. The accountant will then communicate and issue a debit memo to the supplier asking for sales returns and allowance. If the goods are received in good condition, the employees will carry these goods to the right area at the warehouse. Although the warehouse is a big area, employees can recall from memory where similar goods are stored. When the warehouse employees receive the sales order, the employees will start picking the goods. One of the warehouse employees will go to where the stock is located and start picking out the goods. Once all the items in the sales order are picked, the employee will combine all the items and get ready for packing. Then the same employee will pack and stick a label on the package. The logistic service will come for pickup twice a day, once at 11 am and another at 4 pm. Required: a) Identify and explain three (3) weaknesses in Gamby's business processes.
