Question 4 You are the new IP manager of a company that builds unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The company, once very successful, is struggling to compete with its rivals' technological advances and lower cost of their drones. You have been brought in to troubleshoot. You immediately notice that the company does not seem to be very IP savvy. Their technology was developed some years ago and has only been improved as necessary in light of government regulations for safety and security, including weight restrictions for public air space usage as well as minimum technical requirements for the use of reliable and accurate sensors. The outward design and appearance of the company's range of UAVs is also rather dated. With a board meeting coming up, the Board has requested that you provide a roadmap for the company to address these challenges. Evaluate and prepare an IP strategy for the company. Limit your answer to around 500 words. (25 marks)
