The manager of Twende Sote Company limited (TSCL) observes that the morale of employees in her company is low. She thinks that if the working conditions, the pay scale and vacation benefits of employees are improved, morale will improve. She doubts, though, that increasing the pay scales is going to raise the morale of all employees. Her guess is that those who have good side incomes will not be affected by higher pay. However, those without side incomes will be happy with increases pay and their morale will improve.

The manager would like to prove the above assertion through a management research.
