Question about Law Agency

1.Karim instructed Jerry to deliver a consignment of fresh dragon fruits from Taiping to Johor Bahru. Due to Jerry's negligence, the lorry he was driving became involved in an accident in Seremban. The lorry and all the cargo of fruits were totally damaged. While waiting for another form of transportation, Jerry out of concern to safe the fruits from getting further spoilt, decided to sell the whole consignment of fruits at the nearest Pasar Tani or farmers market in Seremban. He managed to sell the whole consignment but at a price fifty percent less than the actual market price that would have been obtained in Johor Bahru market.

Karim is devastated and wants to take a legal action to recover his loss. Advise Karim and Jerry their legal position under the law of agency in Malaysia.
