Question In a process and instrumentation of a flash drum, steam is condensed in a steam coil to vaporize a portion of the liquid feed, and the liquid product is removed by a pump. There are five control valves will be designed in the process for the steam flow VI (CV flowrate), vapour product V2 (CV pressure), liquid product V3 (CV level), liquid feed flow V4 (CV flowrate) and steam chest V5 (which allow the steam chest to be rapidly evacuated in emergency situatione).
