Zuus Ltd manufactures the KF94 facial mask. Below are the information that could assist the budget for 2023. The company is expected to produce 100,000 boxes for distribution across pharmacies in Selangor, Malaysia.

Zuus Ltd expected volume of sales for the first 2 months in business from 1 January to 28 February 2023 is as follows:

The company sells their product for both cash and credit terms and estimates that 20 per cent of all sales will be for cash and the remainder will be on credit terms. Research has shown that on average, 60 per cent of trade debtors pay in the month following the month of sale and 40 per cent in the second month following the month of sale. Units will be bought in the month of sale and paid for in the following month. It is expected that expenses will be incurred at the rate of RM33,000 per month, half of which will be paid for in the following month.
