This is Phase II of a multi-part project that will be submitted at the end of this course. You will add to the Packet Tracer diagram and to the report you created in Phase I.

Scenario

In Phase I, you helped a family of six connect multiple devices to the Internet, such as a tablet, smartphone, laptop, and a gaming machine. This week, the family has decided to add additional "smart" devices to their home, including a smart thermostat, smart garage door, smart sprinkler, smart ceiling fan, and smart AC unit. Update Your Network Diagram in Packet Tracer

Use Packet Tracer to add to the network you built in Phase I, showing the way each device connects to the network in a diagram for the family.

The network diagram must now contain:

• Devices from Phase I: a tablet, smartphone, laptop, a gaming PC.
• New devices for Phase II: smart thermostat, smart garage door, smart sprinkler, smart ceiling fan, and smart AC unit.
• Rename each device in the network to include your first name.
• Take a screenshot(s) documenting your Packet Tracer network.

Update Your Report

Update the Home Network project document that you completed for Phase I. Make any adjustments needed and add the following:

• Add each new device, and explain how they are connected to the network.
• Include why wired or wireless connections were chosen for each of the devices.
• For each of the wired connections, document the type of wire used and why that type was selected.
• Add the screenshot(s) to the report of the Packet Tracer network you diagrammed.
