Students are expected to design a questionnaire in this assessment task. For this you need to develop a research context that indicates the importance of the issue and elaborates on the necessity of designing a questionnaire. In order to conduct this task, you will need to define 2-3 objectives of the study indicated as questions or hypothesis.

You need a methodology planned for the research whether they are exploratory or descriptive. You are expected to conduct a detailed review of relevant literature in identifying the research problem based on "Demographic market analysis". This will include 5 academic articles relevant to the study. These articles could be relevant to any of the following items with the bullet points.

The topic will be around "Demographic market analysis". Demographic market analysis could have many aspects and you can choose the following as example of fields to build your assessment around. For this you need to go to Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website at www.abs.gov.au and find out how the demographics could be classified. Examples of the demographics are:

Geography (areas of residence based of Local Government Area (LGA).

Income level: Possible levels of income according to the abs website.

Education level: Possible levels of education according to the abs website.

Age group: Possible age groups according to the abs website.

Satisfaction level from use of a product in 5 point Likert scale. This could be any product or service.

Above items are only as example. Feel free to add as many questions as you think that could help you to measure

"Demographic market analysis". Questionnaire will be designed in survey monkey. www.surveymonkey.com. You will provide access to the survey for marking purposes.

The assignment should include the following elements:

I.Develop a Research Context:

This section sets the context and overviews the research problem ascertaining the importance, magnitude and priority of the issue.

II.Research design:

Methodology planned for the research (type of research) including each technique that you are going to use (i.e. Exploratory/Descriptive, etc.).

III.Research questions or hypothesis:

Well-defined objectives (2 to 3 objectives) of the study expressed as questions or hypotheses.

IV.Review of Literature:

Minimum of 5 academic articles relevant to the study must be included.

V.Questionnaire designed in survey monkey. The questions may be open-ended and/or closed-ended statements.

Pre-test the questionnaire with a class mate or your target respondents (if you have access to them) and incorporate the changes before you finalise the questionnaire.
