Vehicles are depreciated using a rate of 20% on cost, on a pro rata basis. On 31 March 2019, a vehicle which had originally cost 18,000 and which had a net book value at the end of 2018 of 8,400 was sold for 7,000 cash. 3 How much has the sold vehicle been depreciated in total by the end of 2018 ? (1 mark) 4 How much depreciation will be charged in 2019 for (i) the car that was sold on 31 March?
