scenario = Your company makes clothing at a number of different factories across the north-east of the UK. The company employs 2800 staff split into the categories of factory workers, supervisors, administration staff, and senior managers. Following reports of discrepancies of worker output between different factories the Human Resource department of the company is considering revising its guidelines on supervisor/factory worker interaction - it has previously advised that supervisors remain at an emotional distance from the workers. The HR manager believes that the differences are due to the relationship between the workers and the supervisors at different factories, in particular how close workers feel to their supervisor, and has asked you to find out if this is correct. You will need to find a way of measuring the relationship between workers and their supervisors.
