Rashmi has worked at House Depot since 2015. She loves her job and always receives great perfformance evaluations. Under her employment contract, Rashmi is entitled to ffour weeks' vacation. She got engaged in February 2020. She told her supervisor shortly thereaffter that she was getting married in India in October 2021 and would be taking three off her four weeks' vacation then. During her perfformance evaluation meeting in March 2021, Rashmi's supervisor advised her that she had serious difffficulty with Rashmi's vacation. Her supervisor advised that it was House Depot's policy that employees were only permitted to take at most 2 weeks' vacation in a row. The supervisor advised that House Depot ffinds it too difffficult to manage its employees' schedules iff employees are permitted t take more than two weeks off in a row. Rashmi is stunned.
