Unit 1: LA 1-(In Class) Effective Project Management: Mini Team Presentation
Due no later than 11:00 PM EST Sunday of Unit 1
Value: 2.5% of final grade
Learning Objectives
This Learning Activity for on-campus class will be a mock in-class team presentation. The objective of this activity is for students to begin their journey in this course with teams. Reflecting on team agility and how they are able to come together to work on a common goal.
The professor will allocate teams. Every member must participate.
Teams will research and prepare a 1-3 slide presentation, poetry, song, role-play on their topic:
difference between leading and managing a project;
why do we need to manage stakeholders;
project manager spherfhrof influence (PMBoK 6th ed. section 3.3);
project manager as a conductor -Snapshot 10.1(Larson and Gray 2018); and other topic as assigned by professor.
Instructions
Teams should state their understanding of the topic as discussed in class and can be found in the required content for this week.
Submit your file to Moodle by Sunday. One team member can submit the file.
In week 2, each group will be given 5-7 mins to present in class. Ensure your team members participate in developing the team response. The professor will call on any team member to present or answer questions. All teams will present.
