A scope is defined as the activities in and out of a subject matter. To identify the in-scope or out-scope of a project, one must think of one of all the things that would cover the specific works that fall within the project's boundaries, and which do notdeveloping a refined scope statement sets up the foundations for a project. A scope statement outlines the main goals and specifics of the project deliverables (Watt, 2014). The discipline of having scope management is essential as changes occur. According to the Project Management Institute, scope creep is continuously extending the scope of a project or product without making the necessary modifications to the budget, schedule, or resources (2017). One must make the project's scope consistent throughout the entire process or ensure that the correct changes are made to avoid scope creep (Lewsauder, 2020). Defining how additions and improvements will be handled should be included (Abramovici, 2000). Change is inevitable, which is why scope and change management exist to ensure that appropriate changes are made where needed throughout the project. Clear and quality communication with internal and external parties is essential throughout the project. However, scope creep can be prevented by definingspecific requirements and managing stakeholder's expectations and involvement. If it does occur, protecting the baseline of the scope is necessary, and migrating the changes done on the scope will minimize a negative impact on the whole project (Abramovici, 2000).
