Google use SD-WAN to connect its offices spread across different locations. SD-WAN allows for easier management of the network from a central location, improving performance by choosing the best path for reliable data transfer. It enhances security through features like encryption, bandwidth efficiency, and offers flexibility to adapt to changing network needs. Google states, "By integrating the SD-WAN solution with Google's network, enterprises get a simple, reliable way to consume connectivity on demand while extending the benefits of the SD-WAN to Google Cloud networks" (Google). Additionally, SD-WAN helps in keeping cost low by utilizing multiple network connections efficiently. The technology prioritizes important applications, ensuring they receive the proper bandwidth for top tier performance. Overall, SD-WAN contributes to a more efficient, secure, and flexible network infrastructure for geographically separated offices, ultimately improve customer satisfaction.
