Do you perceive the Amish to be un-innovative? Why is acceptance of change so difficult? Why is it challenging for the Amish teens to leave behind their Amish lifestyle and families? Review the adopter categories. Where does the Amish community fit, in general, among these categories? Where do the teens in these video clips fit among these categories? Why is it so difficult for these teens to adjust to a life different from their Amish upbringing? Provide an example of an innovation in your own personal life. Where did you fit among the adopter categories? Explain the reason for fitting into that particular category.
