1. A divorced person is thinking about remarriage and wants to protect assets to pass to own children, but provide for new spouse in event of own death first. This person wants to keep their financial affairs private.

2. A family has adult children in different circumstances. Child 1 is a successful doctor earning $200,000 / year. Child 2 is a teacher in an inner city school, loves the job, loves making a difference, earns $25,000 / year. Child 3 has struggled with ADHD and depression since a young age and has trouble holding a job. Parents want to treat all children equally in estate plan. What do you advise?

3. A family has two special needs children where one has been able to live quasi independently in a group home, but the other has never been able to leave home. Both children are adults now. What is your advice for the parents when discussing estate planning?

4. Another situation could be a husband/wife couple with no children. The husband was recently diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. The wife recently learned she has an aggressive form of cancer and her prognosis is not good. She wants to be sure her husband will have the care he needs after she is gone.
