Scenario

One of Cricket Equip's suppliers has spoken to your manager. Your manager has told you that the supplier believes a number of your team members do not believe you have the right skills to manage the team.

You now need to seek feedback and improve your workplace leadership skills.

Activities

1.Provide responses to the following two (2) questions after reading the scenario.

a)Identify three (3) methods you could use to seek feedback on your workplace leadership skills.

b)You meet with your manager to provide an update on the issue. You told your manager that you are planning to hold a meeting with your team to ask for feedback. Your manager reminds you that they have given you feedback on two occasions (in Assessment Task 2.3 and Assessment Task 3 Part B.1). They ask you to analyse the feedback they have given you, to evaluate your own performance in these two roleplays and to identify areas of improvement that you could make.
