Black strap molasses, water, antibiotics, yeast, and defoamer are added to a fermenter. Yeast is allowed 56-96 hours to catabolically breakdown the molasses. The product is routed to a distillation tower. In the distillation tower: ethanol comes off the top, fusel oil in the middle, vanase below the fusel oil, and the bottom product is rerouted to the fermenter. Vanase is sent to an evaporator, where biocondensate comes off the top and is routed to the water treatment plant. Condensed molasses (CMS) comes off the bottom of the evaporator and is sent off island
