Read the theories (Griffin, Ledbetter, & Sparks, 2019) assigned for this session's readings. Take two theories (Social Judgment Theory and Expectancy Violations Theory) and briefly summarize each one, stating its main idea and sub-ideas. Then, observe interpersonal communication in real life to see if you can apply each theory to a specific relationship either at work, home, or within a social context. In other words, can you see this theory play out in your own interactions with others? In your paper, tell the who, what, where, how, and when of your application.
