Although not all speeches require visual aids they certainly do help maintain audience engagement. Out of the three that | selected computer-based media is the one | enjoy using the most. There are many types a person could use such as power point or other like software, and video clips. It is an easier way to keep a group involved in the topic that is being spoken about especially in today's world of ever-changing technology. Plus, with these types of visual aides there aren't cumbersome materials that need to be set up and taken down before and after speeches. I would struggle with poster board and foam board types of visual aids, even though they would be a good alternative to technology especially if it wasn't readily available to use technology. The issue | would have is keeping everything in good condition and having to worry about it getting damaged during transit whether that be from being carried in and out of the facility or weather being the culprit, plus | would not know where to get professional type of imaging for poster boards and it would look like a kindergartener did it. The graph can help make the audience under stand the situation better. The second could be diagrams that could be used to help explain multiple parts of whatever you talking about, like a speech on the human body. The third could be video and audio recording. These could be used if it is really difficult to talk about. A video presentation could be better to explain it. | think | would most likely enjoy a video. | feel like | can learn more easily by watching it be done and having someone explain it. The diagram could be a struggle, depending on how many different sections are being talked about. Like what | said about the human body diagram, it would be hard for me to know every name and every part of the human body ill get the basic parts, but if it goes really in-depth, it could be a struggle.
