Scenario
UMCycle Bike Kiosk is a fullservice bike shop at the centre of the University of Manitoba, Fort Garry Campus. The bike shop is expanding to include a bike sharing program similar to that used by Red River College and others already used by other Canadian colleges and universities.
Bike Havens pickupdrop off stations will be positioned around the Fort Garry Campus and in popular areas within kilometers of the University eg grocery stores, parks, etc.
As the Communications Coordinator for UMCycle, your job is to produce a onepage document with a short introduction on why bike sharing is valuable for students and instructing students on how to use the service. You can use Red River Colleges guidelines as a starting point, but note that that U of Ms program will differ in a few important ways:
Students must first create a user account with their University of Manitoba email address.
The system operates on credits $ for hour which can only be purchased in $ increments.
Credits loaded online are not active right away. A confirmation email will be sent to the students email account within hours to confirm when the fares you have loaded will be available for use.
Unused credits expire at the end of six months.
In addition to the differences mentioned above, you may add other information as you see appropriate.
