The two were found guilty of tax evasion and for defrauding banks out of over $30 million. Instead of paying back the loans, they then filed for bankruptcy and failed to report their TV show earnings to the IRS. In total, the couple has been sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison and their accountant, Peter Tarantino, was sentenced to 3 years. In failing to truthfully report the Chrisley's tax information, Tarantino did not uphold his liability as an accountant and is facing the consequences as a result. 

Do  that 3 years was an appropriate sentence for the accountant? If not, do you think it should have been more or less? Explain why.
