Recently, Alec Murdoch went on trial for murdering his wife and son; he was convicted. 1. Was it proper to admit evidence of his financial problems (i.e. his law partners conftronted him about missing funds a day before the killings, and he was in severe debt)

2. Were there grounds for excluding such evidence, under the rules of evidence that is part of your assigned readings for this unit? Consider Rules 104, 403 and 404.

3. Should the judge have admitted photographs of the victims injuries? What about multiple photos be admitted? (explain your answer , applying the rules and your readings)

4. Is the following relevant to the trial: what Mr. Murdoch was wearing when police arrived at the scene; what we was wearing one hour before the reported crimes (as shown in the snapchat uploaded by his son); and how he was acting when police arrived ?

5. Should lthe Snapchat employee who revealed photographs posted by one of the victims on the day of the killing have been permitted to testify regarding the video uploaded by Murdoch's son the day of the murders? why/why not ?
