Recognizing health disparities is both a medical, and social responsibility. In the position of a health care manager, you may be asked to identify disparities in the patient population you serve.

• Identify a research study that addresses a health disparity topic. This topic should be relatable to your patient population (example: you manage a primary care practice, community clinic in an under-served area, domestic or international medical missions, etc.)
  • Select a research study that includes graphic representations of data. This will be helpful in Unit 4 as well.
• Briefly summarize the studys aims and findings.
• Explain why this study interests you and how it is applicable to your [hypothetical] management role.
• Include a link or reference to the study at the bottom of your post.
