Recruitment is a challenging job responsibility of the HR department of any company. Here, we will create a Big Data project that can analyze vast amounts of data gathered from real-world job posts published online. The project helps one company to recruit data scientists and aims to identify four sub-roles in the given dataset; and identify nine homogeneous groups job skills that are highly valued by the company. The available dataset summarizes the following features: salary estimate, location, skill1, skill2, skill3, skill4, skill5, skill6, skill7, skill8, skill9, skill1 rate, skill2 rate, skill3 rate, skill4 rate, skill5 rate, skill6 rate, skill7 rate, skill8 rate, skill9 rate, job description. The dataset records an instance for each job applicant. More features can be defined if necessary. (a) Design a big data analytics project for the above business needs based on the Big Data Analytics Lifecycle in 6 phases: discovery, data preparation, model planning, model building, communicate results, and operationalization.
