Referencing a smart building scenario, your boss was so pleased with your previous research and presentation (smart LED lights, face ID and fingerprint scanners) that you are now being asked to research the difference between IT security and IoT security, including what is required for IoT hardening on-site for existing IoT devices. The existing IT Director believes that little would need to be changed to establish an on-site resource for IoT security. Your boss is unsure and would like you to research the topic and present your findings (and point of view).
