Reflect on the topics presented this week pertaining to memory. What are your thoughts/ideas on the following?

1. Why do we have a memory system, if it is so faulty, easily manipulated, suggestible, and unreliable? What purpose does it serve?
2. What do you think we can start to do to address/respond to some of the issues pertaining to memory and the legal system? (In other words, work to help minimize/decrease bias and limitations of memory in legal proceedings, during investigations, during interviews/interrogations, etc.?)
3. Anything else you would like to share/add? For example, new knowledge gained this week, anything that you found surprising/interesting, etc.
