Reflect on your experience mentoring and coaching throughout the Master of Science in Leadership program. Is your capstone project connected to mentorship or coaching? Are you able to apply mentorship or coaching skills directly or indirectly to the capstone project?

My response: My capstone project has been linked to both coaching and mentorship in recent years, with substantial rewards and some concomitant obstacles. Coaching and mentoring involve substantial work and the creation of complete trust. I've observed several typical issues with mentors, such as denigrating their mentees because they believe they are far superior. The mentors' superiority complex resulted in a terrible connection with their mentees. In my capstone project, a mentor is defined as someone who recognizes a great potential in a mentee and facilitates effective self-discovery for that individual. Mentors assist mentees make decisions that lead to success. Mutual respect between mentor and mentee is necessary to promote growth and development. Mentors must stay focused on their mission of assisting mentees in achieving the goals and objectives that have been established.

Mentoring or coaching, whether directly or indirectly, in the capstone project

In my capstone project, I can immediately utilize both coaching and mentoring abilities. The direct application of these abilities has created a strong connection to the capstone project. This has resulted in the identification of basic faults among mentors and the development of strategies to eliminate them.
