Reflecting on something that happened during your daily life can sometimes be so beneficial in many aspects. It can cause you to critically think about the situation and think about other scenarios that could have possibly happened. This further develops your brain to maybe possibly act differently during that situation if it happens again. However, when do you start to reflect? According to the text, during early adulthood is when you start to see reflective thinking. This is when your brain starts developing and creating more neurons to make you a reflective thinker. Reflective thinking is essentially the consent evaluation of information. In other terms, if you are a reflective thinker then you are always thinking what happened, could have happened, why it happened and so on and so fourth. There has been plenty of times where something crazy would happen at school for example and I have gone home imagining if it went differently. As an example, have you ever seen a fist fight happen at school where teachers come to stop it? A reflective thinker would always think about the situation and probably create a situation in their head where the teacher did not stop the fight. I think overall, reflective thinking is mostly positive as it creates you to be more if a critical thinker but sometimes if you think too critically of a situation it might create issues such as minor anxiety. For example, if you knew you should have said your answer a different way in class, you might get anxious because you think everyone else in the class did not understand you. Nonetheless, as I said reflective thinking is mostly a positive adaptation to occur. Lastly, have you ever reflectively thought about a situation
