Paid employees can serve as role models and advocates for the program, encouraging their colleagues to participate and supporting volunteers in their roles. Moreover, paid staff can help integrate volunteers into the daily workflow, providing guidance and supervision as needed," and I would like to look at this more please. We absolutely want to be sure our volunteers are trained properly, and to also feel comfortable asking questions of employees if they need help or are not sure what to do. On the flip side of this, we need to be sure our staff know what to do, and how to interact with our volunteers as well. If you were coordinating this program, how might you designate volunteers so staff know who they are in when they are in your building, and what sort of training might you provide your staff so they can assist your volunteers?
