Judy was recently hired as a certified medical assistant in a new pediatrician's office. After working several months, she noticed.that another medical assistant, Debbie, was arriving late every day. It was Debbie's job to arrive early to turn on the computers, restock the examination rooms, and make sure the messages from the answering service were given to the physicians. Judy was upset because she was doing Debbie's job because of her constant tardiness at work.

One day Debbie was more than an hour late, and the waiting room was full of waiting patients. Judy muttered under her breath how unfair it was that she was left doing both Debbie's job and her job. Debbie overheard her and started yelling at Judy that it was not her fault that traffic was bad.
