reply and agree and compliment to this comment as a classmate, "One of the first things that stood out to me was when Claudio said that the shoes were in the factory for eight days but associates on had their hands on the shoes for 23 minutes so there was 7 days and 23.5 hours that the shoes were there when they could have been shipped or sold. they also reduced the manufacturing line by 30% this made them more efficient by increasing flow and eliminating waste. some of the enablers were that every employee was made aware that they should eliminate waste and look for waste to investigate the losses. they also focused on ergonomics that made employees more comfortable and increased their productivity
