The wrong culture will make the environment awkward and uninviting (Weiss, 2020). The United States Army has adapted to become a diverse and changing culture. Today's Army does not discriminate no matter the race, creed, nationality, gender, sexual orientation and religion. Individuals of all diversity's are encouraged to serve in any capacity if they meet the physical and mental standards. The Army was not always as inclusive and would ostracize and alienate diverse groups that did not fit the stereotypical model. The Army drastically improved its culture and public perception by leadership adopting these four principles fostering an inclusive environment
