Some things to do to prepare for an interview are to practice, and search commonly asked questions. Practice talking and practice gestures, politeness, practice reciting your responses to yourself (this goes hand in hand with commonly asked questions). When you come prepared to an interview, it shows the interviewer that you take this seriously and that you are truly committed to working at that establishment. It also shows that you're professional and are mature enough for the position. Everyone wants to work with people that are mature and professional, so making sure that you also are acting professional and mature is essential. Searching commonly asked questions is critical. Almost all interviewers will ask "what's your biggest weakness?" Coming up with a gameplan for that question is really important, if and interviewer hears a good response to that question then that makes the applicant look very good for answering a difficult question with an appropriate and good response. I would handle an inappropriate question by simply stating that you feel uncomfortable answering that question and to go onto the next question. It shows that you are setting your boundaries and that you still want to continue, just not with that question. It creates boundaries without making the interview uncomfortable for both parties. If you just simply say that you're uncomfortable with that and sit there, there will be awkward silence and make both parties feel uncomfortable until the interviewer continues themself. But if you say that you don't feel comfortable answering the question and that we should move on to the next question, it keeps the flow and the uncomfortable feeling at a minimum.
