Objectives of study Conduct an investigation of whether educational levels or poverty (or both) are signicant factors that affect health status by answering the following questions. (a) Is education a signicant factor affecting systolic blood pressure levels? Which level of ed ucation has higher systolic blood pressure levels? Does adjusting for other demographic variables (gender, age, race, family income, poverty, weight, height, or BMI} make a dilference? (b) Is poverty a signicant variable affecting systolic blood pressure levels? Describe the direction and magnitude of the effects of poverty. Does adjusting for other demographic variables (gender, age, race, education, family income, weight, height, or BMI} make a dilference? (c) Conduct a similar analysis by answering questions {a} and (b) using the response variable cholesterol instead of systolic blood pressure, and then glucose instead of systolic blood pressure. 3.
