REQUIREMENT: Deliver a REPORT answering below questions (analyze and make comment)

IMPORTANT: **PLEASE, UPLOAD EXCEL FULLCALCULATION FILE**

NSW government is considering policies to promote the uptake of solar panel to produce electricity for household consumption. To investigate factors that affect households' decision to adopt solar panel, a survey was carried out and the obtained data are provided in 'solar uptake survey data' data set.

a) A government officer suggests that the proportion of households adopting solar technology is the same as the proportion of households not adopting solar technology. Use a statistical test to test this claim. Make sure to state the null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis, the type of test to be used, the test statistic, the critical value or p-value, and the conclusion from the test.

b) Use a statistical test to examine whether there is a relationship between solar technology uptake and the type of dwellings the household has. Make sure to state the null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis, the type of test to be used, the test statistic, the critical value or p-value, and the conclusion. Using bar chart, graph the number of observations with solar and nonsolar for each type of dwellings.Hint: In Excel, you can use function COUNTIFS to count the number of observations that satisfy multiple conditions. For example, this function is useful for counting households that has adopted solar and has a given dwelling type.

c) Use a statistical test to examine whether there is a relationship between solar technology uptake and household income. Make sure to state the null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis, the type of test to be used, the test statistic, the critical value or p-value, and the conclusion. Using bar chart, graph the number of observations with solar and nonsolar for each income group.

d) Use a statistical test to examine whether there is a relationship between solar technology uptake and head of household's education. Make sure to state the null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis, the type of test to be used, the test statistic, the critical value or p-value, and the conclusion. Using bar chart, graph the number of observations with solar and nonsolar for each education level.

e) Based on your investigation, provide recommendations that can help policy makers increase solar technology uptake.
