Be aware that the writer may not have specifically identified the system as strategic in nature. Gain an understanding of the new system’s goals and determine whether it is strategic. 

Prepare a three (complete) page (APA) report explaining the opportunity seized. Did the organization create a new product or service, improve one, or manage to capture a significantly greater market share of an existing product or service? How did the data, information, or information system play a major role in the strategic move?
