Researchers aim to examine the effect of mobility training on life satisfaction (measured by choosing a whole number rating on a scale from 1 - 10) of retired individuals (aged 65+). Seventy individuals are randomly selected from Toronto to participate in the study. Half are provided with mobility training, and half are asked to relax outside quietly as a control. Both activities occurred for 30 min for 30 days. Life satisfaction scores recorded for each patient over the following 90 days.
