Researchers studied the effect of background music on production of workers performing a complex operation in rug manufacture. The response variable is Average Hourly Production in a Day. Three music programs (A, B, C) and no-music program, D, all were tested. For each of following scenarios: (1) state the name of the design, (2) sketch the layout and (3) write down the statistical model with indices range.

Scenario 1: The researchers did not consider any nuisance factors that may affect the production and were only interested in testing the four treatments in 16 randomly selected days.
