respond to: In the first meeting with a new department, I would ensure to first introduce myself and give them a brief summary of my background/family. Lay out what the flight can expect from me and what I would expect from them regarding timeliness, and housekeeping items such as annual reviews, feedback, training etc. Let them know that I plan to carry out anything that was already in progress on their unit such as projects, EPB, long term goals etc. Let them know we will be meeting 1 on 1 as time allows for personalized initial meetings and then ask if there is anything they would like to bring up with me or have me know going forward
