Transformational Leadership

An alternative leadership style to transactional leadership is transformational leadership. It's also distinct in how they approach and respond to certain situations. Transactional leadership entails "telling" others what to do, while transformational leadership involves "selling" others on an idea.

Business Leaders Michelle Obama

It is said in the lesson annotations that transformational leadership "serves to change the existing quo by appealing to followers' values and their sense of higher purpose..." As a result of their interaction with their followers, both the leader and the follower will experience an increase in their intrinsic motivation and moral fiber. (Hamel, 2021)

The finding demonstrates that (Hamel, 2021). Michelle Obama, the former first lady, is a well-known icon because of her reputation for transformative leadership. She was a transformational leader because of her foresight, oratory abilities, reputation and trustworthiness cultivation, and individualized approach to leading. Michelle Obama, the former first lady of the United States, is an American attorney and author. She held the office of the first lady from 2009 to 2017. Michelle Obama's ability to persuade and inspire her supporters and the country to share her vision of female empowerment was displayed during her tenure as the first lady. She also believed education was the key to helping young women achieve their full potential as community leaders. Michelle Obama is a tremendous role model and a rock for our society, which inspires me tremendously.

Business Leader Bill Belichick

The concept of "transactional leadership" emerged in a marketplace characterized by frequent, brief exchanges between many leaders and their subordinates (McCleskey, 2014). As far as transactional leadership is concerned, there is no better example than New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. Each team's head coach employs a unique method of leadership and, at times, will transition between modes of leadership as the game progresses (Franey, 2015). Belichick has won six Super Bowls, making him the only coach in NFL history to do so. Belichick joined George Halas and Curly Lambeau as the only NFL coaches with six championships after winning his sixth Super Bowl in 2018. For nearly two decades now, I've been a devoted Patriots supporter.

Effective Leadership

I think employing a blend of transformational and transactional leadership styles can achieve the best results between leaders and subordinates. One reason is that it's lovely to show your team how much you appreciate them when they support your ideas and work hard to achieve goals by offering them an incentive. Because I value my staff and appreciate their efforts, I occasionally bring them lunch.

To prevent negative comments, I use incentives such as buying lunch for the entire group. This ensures that no one is singled out and gives the impression that they are receiving preferential treatment.
