Respond to this discussion: From the perspective of operations management, layouts need to be selected$/$designed in a way that the flow of goods, inventory, and$/$or people is optimal. In other words, goods and people travel the smallest distance possible, which in turn will minimize your costs and time expenditures. However, there are other factors that may impact layout decisions, especially from management and organizational studies perspectives. For the industry$/$company of your choice, what factors, in addition to distance travelled, would you consider crucial to the layout choice? Why?
