If you choose to win at the cost of a partner you are not demonstrating loyalty and in the long run may fail because of it. You must be selective in hiring for your teams. Just filling an open position with a mediocre candidate will not help you achieve the results you are looking for. Keep your strategies and structure simple. If too complex, your speed to resolution can become a barrier. Keep your teams small, the larger the team the less personal the relationships and more complexity you'll have. Align interests and reward your target markets and teams accordingly. Lastly, you must listen and be honest. Failing to deliver will erode trust and diminish loyalty
