Respond to your classmate with value added comments

Even as the world seems hectic currently with inflation still high, unemployment benefits have still seemed to be lowered in the previous months. With a weak economic growth and continuous soaring interest rates it seems the US hiring market has been staying strong. One of the biggest problems for the US economy right now is the inflation we all are experiencing. Gas prices saw an all time high at one point and even though we have seen the prices of gas start lowering Groceries and other household essential items are still elevated. The federal Reserve continues to raise its benchmark interest rates even if that means households and business are going to be hurt by it in hopes for inflation to not reach its all time high in 40 years.

Reflection:

During this assignment I learned a lot about how our economy is currently holding up. With inflation continuing to spike the economy is almost at a point of a recession. Although unemployment has seen a slight drop employers are still seeking millions of job opportunities. One of the biggest things I can use in my every day life from what I learned this week to understand how to survive during inflation. Most times during inflation the real value of an individuals savings will drop, so knowing this I can invest in certain assets and commodities that will ultimately hold its value rather than my ordinary savings account.
