RESULTS General characteristics The average patient age was 69.4 years (95% CI 43.0-88.0 years) The majority of patients were men (71.0% vs 29.0% women) and 785 invasive mela- nomas of the H&N were included (one institution represented 53%[n = 415] and the other 47%[n = 370] of the tumors). Median follow-up was 37.9 months [3.16 years] (range 0-149.2 months, interquartile range 15.2-62.4 months).
