After taking the assessments, I was not surprised with the results. While taking the assessments I was a bit nervous about seeing my results, reason being is because I feel like my personality and values are shifting. Lately, I've notice that I look at things from a different perspective. But looking over my results I was a bit shocked because nothing about me has changed really. My personality is ISFJ (Introversion, Sensing, Feeling, Judging) described as sensitive, warm, quiet, supportive to friends but not pushy, easy to approach, organized, and dependable. Looking at my score for social (71%) was shocking to me because I feel that around others, I become very shy. My results for my values are working conditions, achievement, and recognition. Overall, I think my test results pretty much portrayed who I am, except for the social part. My Interest results score as followed:

  • Social - 71
  • Conventional - 59
  • Enterprising - 55
  • Realistic - 50
  • Investigate - 42
  • Artistic - 21

Describe what this could mean to you in terms of your career goals and leadership approach.

I feel that my results fit perfectly for my future career as a Training Curriculum Specialist. My personality traits align with the ability to teach, help/guide people and create structure. My achievement values will allow me to train employees effectively and encourage them to use their strongest abilities which will give them a sense of accomplishment.

Describe how identifying your strengths, values, interests and transferable skills could help you as a leader.

Being aware of my strengths, values, interests and transferable skills will allow me better to comprehend myself and to self-reflect on who I am. This will allow me to effectively apply these skills to my everyday life and career and helping others.
